Rage Almighty : How He Says It

We've known about Rage Almighty for a mighty long time.  We're impressed with his wordplay, charisma, and swagger.  But most importantly we dig this man's humility and intelligence.

 

Taking the long hard road of "Poet" can be difficult.  A choice we here at the magazine might never understand in this ADD riddled society.  Poets need us to be still and listen to their words.  They need us to engage our imaginations as we listen to them so that we can paint the picture together.  It's a truly interactive artform.

 

It's not easy to make people sit still and listen.  Some poets have it...and some just damn don't.  Dallas, TX is home to many a fine poet.  Rage Almighty being among the cream of the crop.

 

When asked about why he continues to bless us with his poetic utterances he states, " I just want to be heard. Hip Hop has become the absolute love of my life, she has seen me through the best of times and the worst of times and I just want everyone to see what I see and feel what I feel, give back what has been given to me."
