Label Vote
Hundreds of major and independent labels including Interscope, Jive, Downtown Records, and Def Jam are participating in Label Vote 2006 - the music industry's annual search for the World's Most Wanted Record Label . The election determines which record label is the most (and least) popular within the artist community.

Label Vote is the opportunity for unsigned artists to vote for their favorite record label and let the record companies know that unsigned artists are watching and judging. Participants can cast votes in all categories for Pop, Rock/Metal, Urban, Adult Pop, Electronica/Dance, and Alternative Pop labels. NY based Arista Records, founded by veteran A&R Clive Davis, was voted No.1 Record Label in 2005. http://www.hitquarters.com/labelvote2005

The race is very tight between the majors and independent labels this year. Will independent labels prevail over the majors in Label Vote 2006? The artists will decide.

You can find the Label Vote 2006 ballot box at http://www.hitquarters.com/labelvote2006.
