This Brooklyn born Saxophonist started playing the sax at the age of 8. By 16, he was playing jazz sax and classical flute.  He has been told that his style of playing reminds people of Grover Washington Jr.  For Keyan, this is a great compliment as Washington is one of his inspirations. Keyan, has graced the stage with jazz luminaries such as Herbie Hancock, Chic Corea and Junior of Cook.

Keyan’s musical arsenal includes:  Yamaha Tenor Sax, Yanagisawa Soprano Sax, Selmer Alto Sax, and Korg Triton keyboard.

His CD entitled “The Art of Living” is filled with groove.  Keyan vows that we will never hear him play a solo the same way twice because he plays from his heart.
