She’s beautiful, talented and admittedly clumsy. Noush Skaugen is a musical dynamo that’s cementing her credibility in the alternative ring one stage and interview at a time. Very personable, Noush is an independent artist that represents her craft in a major way.
Whilst perusing through our Sonicbids inbox filled with hundreds of buzzing artists, Noush’s voice and unpretentious lyrics and intuitive delivery impressed us and sparked a lot of curiosity round the office.
This Swedish born British singer/songwriter has had an exciting ride since the 2006 release of her EP “Palomino” which was awarded 'National Independent EP of the Year' at The Hollywood Fame Awards 2007. Currently working on her upcoming debut album release “Lost and Found”, Noush has and is working with some very creative musicians in an effort to follow through on the excitement that she has generated thus far.
With a bio that boasts of many accomplishments independent artists dream of, Noush continues to remain grounded, humble and ever committed to topping herself.
Her upbringing in the UK, time in France & now the States has undeniably added a special flavor to Noush's sound which some compare to Alanis Morrisette meets Joni Mitchell with a sprinkle of Nathalie Merchant.
